The pediatric health and diseases department, which is also known as “pediatrics”, is the medical field that deals with the diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment of individuals from birth to adolescence. This age range generally corresponds to 0 to 16 years of age. Congenital diseases of individuals in this age range and defined as children, follow-up of vaccinations that should be given regularly after birth, mental, physical, and motor development are followed by pediatric doctors. In addition to the height, weight, nutrition, and similar development of the infants, their daily life skills, mental development, and neurological processes are also checked in routine examinations during the follow-up period.
